Translations & Languages
NextStep supports multiple languages for both the application interface and your process content.
Setting Your Team Language
The team language controls the language of the NextStep interface (buttons, labels, menus, etc.) for all team members.
- Go to Manage > Team.
- Find the Team Language setting.
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
The change takes effect immediately for all team members.

Arabic includes full right-to-left (RTL) layout support.
Translating a Process
You can create a translated copy of any process using AI-powered translation. This translates all process content — titles, descriptions, section names, task names, form labels, placeholder text, and dropdown options.
- Open the process you want to translate in the editor.
- Click the Settings menu in the top navigation bar.
- Select Translate Process.
- Choose the target language from the dropdown.
- Click Translate.
NextStep uses AI to translate all content and creates a new copy of the process in the selected language. You’ll be redirected to the translated process automatically.
The original process is not modified. Translation always creates a new copy, so you can safely translate without affecting your existing process.
What Gets Translated
- Process title and description
- Section titles and descriptions
- Task titles
- Form element labels and placeholder text
- Dropdown and multichoice options
- Text content blocks
What Stays the Same
- Process structure (sections, tasks, element order)
- Element types and settings (required, full width, etc.)
- Images, videos, and file attachments
- Due date and assignment settings
